1. How Buying Works

  • Purchasing on Khuje Pawa involves a two-step payment process designed to ensure commitment from both parties:
  • Pay the Purchase Confirmation Fee (10% or ৳150 minimum) to reserve the item
  • Pay the remaining balance Cash on Delivery (COD)

2. Understanding the Booking Fee

  • The Purchase Confirmation Fee (Booking Fee) is:
  • 10% of the item price (minimum ৳150)
  • A demonstration of serious buying intent
  • Deducted from the total price (not an additional charge)
  • Generally non-refundable if you cancel without cause
  • Refundable if the seller fails to deliver or misrepresents the item

3. Making an Offer

  • For eligible items, you can make an offer below the asking price:
  • Offers are submitted through the platform
  • Sellers have 48 hours to respond
  • If accepted, you pay the Booking Fee on the agreed price
  • Counter-offers may be proposed by sellers

4. After Booking

  • Seller confirms availability within 24 hours
  • Coordinate delivery/pickup timing with seller
  • Prepare the remaining COD amount
  • Be available at the agreed time and location

5. Receiving Your Item

⚠️ CRITICAL: Record an unboxing video!

  • Record continuous video from unopened package to full inspection
  • Check item matches listing description and photos
  • Test all functions before accepting (for electronics)
  • Note any discrepancies immediately
  • Pay COD only if satisfied with the item
  • Without an unboxing video, your eligibility for dispute resolution is severely limited.

6. Buyer Protection

You are protected when:

  • Item is significantly different from listing (with video proof)
  • Item is defective/non-functional when described as working
  • Seller fails to deliver after confirmation
  • Item is counterfeit when listed as authentic
  • Protection is capped at the Purchase Confirmation Fee amount. Platform does not guarantee full purchase price recovery.

7. When You Lose the Booking Fee

  • You cancel without valid reason after booking
  • You fail to receive the item at agreed time/place (no-show)
  • You refuse to pay COD for an item that matches the listing
  • You don’t respond to seller’s delivery attempts within 72 hours

8. Buyer Responsibilities

  • Carefully review listings before booking
  • Ask questions through the platform before committing
  • Honor your booking commitment
  • Be reachable via provided contact information
  • Inspect items thoroughly upon delivery
  • Report issues within 24 hours of receiving item

9. Prohibited Actions

  • Filing false disputes or fraudulent claims
  • Returning items different from what was received
  • Colluding with sellers to defraud the platform
  • Harassing sellers or platform staff
  • Creating multiple accounts to abuse protections
